Excellent wake up technique that works very well not only for waking up but whenever you want to do
something you don't like or keep procrastinating on is putting a reward ahead of you. I took it from my
collection of self-improvement tips.
Let's say you want to buy that new iPod. Now tell yourself you will buy it only after you
wake up at 6 am for 2 weeks straight. You miss a day, you lose. You keep the promise and you
can get the reward you deserved. You can use these simple incentives to help you stay focused
on the goal you want to achieve. It's the same trick parents use when they tell they would buy
their kids an ice-cream after they clean their room.
What's more important is that this trick helps you build a habit.
It will be easy for you to continue practicing early wake up for coming weeks, even without rewards.
But above everything else the stronger character is a primary reward you will get. Keeping your word
and sticking to your promise is an extremely important skill you need to acquire - the earlier the better.
